Frequently Asked Questions

What are the player pick up rules?
 
For the showcase events, you can pick up any player that is of the age you are playing. They do not have to be rostered on your official roster. For the National Qualifiers, they must be on your official roster to be eligible to participate.
 
Can I request special game times?
 
When signing up for the tournament you will know roughly the start and end times of the tournament. By entering in the tournament you are agreeing to play at anytime during the designated times. There will be no special request made. Once the schedule has been released, making changes have a domino effect on other teams.
 
What do I need at check in?
 
For the showcase tournaments, the coach only needs to provide team insurance *. The players do not have be present at check in. For the National qualifiers, the players will need to present and provide ID if needed.
*Any insurance will be accepted - NSA, ASA, PGF, USSSA, etc.
 
Do I have to use your hotel provider?
 
Yes, you have to use the hotel provider. You can contact them once the information is released, if not they will contact you. These are stay to play tournaments.
 
Will softballs be provided?
 
Yes, we provide softball for the tournament. Please return any foul balls to the field they came from.
 
What are the rules?
 
Showcase events will use modified rules that are posted on the tournament page. National qualifiers will use the associated rules. 
 
When will I know I have been accepted into the tournaments?
 
Your team will appear on the teams accepted link on each tournament page. An email should follow shortly after. If your name does not appear on the teams accepted page, then they are defaulted into the waiting list. The tournaments will fill up fast, and will have a waiting list.
 
When will the tournament schedule be released?
 
It is our objective to get the schedule released several weeks in advance. Do not email asking when? The schedules generally will take several days to complete. We are aware that you are excited about and want to know who you will be playing and your game times.
 
What happens if I get thrown out of a game?
 
If a coach gets thrown out of a showcase game, they will be sit out the remainder of the game, and are allowed to coach the rest of the tournament. But, because it is inappropriate to get thrown out of a showcase game, your standing for entering any other future showcase events will be questioned.
 
Can any player enter the college instructed camps?
 
Yes, any eligible player is allowed to enter the camps. Your team does not have to be playing in the tournament.
 
When will a player be officially entered in the camp?
 
They are offically entered when payment is received. When payment is received, their name will appear on the website.
If payment has not been received, even though they have registered, they are still are not entered. If you send in payment and the camper is still not listed, make sure that we have received payment. Payments do get lost in the mail system. 
 
 
Can I (travel coach) help work the camp with the colleges?
 
Yes, help is always needed. Please contact us.

SOFTBALL ACCIDENT WAIVER, RELEASE OF ALL LIABILITY AND ASSIGNMENT OF CLAIMS
As consideration for being allowed to participate in the event(s) described below I agree:
1. I acknowledge that the softball tournament is a potentially hazardous activity which can be a test of a person’s
physical and mental limits and carries with it the potential for death, serious injury and property loss. The
risks include, but are not limited to, those caused by terrain, facilities, temperature, weather, condition of
softball equipment, actions of other people including, but not limited to organizers, participants, volunteers,
spectators, agents, Bullpen Tournaments, Future Stars of Softball LLC, the City of Westfield, the City of Kokomo, Championship Park, Grand Park, INDY Sports Park, and its officers and directors. These risks are not only inherent to softball players, but are also present for spectators and volunteers. I hereby assume all of the risks of participating, viewing and/or volunteering in this event. I realize that liability may arise from negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons or entities organizing or conducting this event and hereby release them of all possible liability. I promise not to sue and agree to pay all court costs and all attorney fees that result from my action, civil or otherwise.
